Alumni meeting (Physics Department)
The reunion of 1990 batch students of the department was held on 14th October 2015 under the initiative leadership of Shri. Rajendran, with vivid and vivacious programmes. The function, presided over by the Principal Dr. D. Latheesh, was inaugurated by the former faculty member of the department, Prof. G. K. Potty. The Head of the Department Prof. Leela has extended a hearty welcome to the former faculty members and alumni. Former faculty members were honored in this occasion. A portion of charity fund established for providing financial assistance to one of their classmates, Shri. Pradeepkumar, who has been suffering frailties for the last 20 years due to an accident, was given. The alumni also promised financial assistance to the department and handed over a portion to the department. The meeting ended with a sumptuous lunch the alumni dispersed with fresh memories and promise to meet again soon.
